This year, the Cercle Cité is continuing its series of screenings of short films and artists' films, which will address in a philosophical and original way different aspects of the question of inclusion, accessibility, integration and discrimination.

These are highly topical debates in a society that on the one hand is becoming increasingly aware of the subject of identity and its diversity, but which nevertheless faces difficulties in adapting to this new awareness. Issues of migration and feminism, the quest for (artistic) identity, the rights of people with special needs, those of people belonging to the LGBTQIA+ group or the challenges of parenthood: the themes related to these debates are multifaceted and affect many of us.

As part of this session, Cercle Cité gives carte blanche to the CinEast festival (Central and Eastern European Film Festival in Luxembourg) to offer a special screening as part of its 17th edition. The festival will present several short films on the theme Borders of exclusion, which will explore the theme of migration and more broadly of exclusion based on physical borders, but also barriers
