For this exhibition at CAPE, photographer Neckel Scholtus will combine childhood memories, lived experiences and present events. She will explore Ettelbruck in her own way, moving away from the documentary and towards something more introspective. She will present an intimate photographic creation where the landscapes crossed, the people met, the objects found, will be the projection of a personal story. The result will be a series of images that will address kindness, poetry, and humor too. Introspection constantly permeates his observations: Neckel makes natural and human traces speak. Beyond that, it is a personal story, that of his affiliations, of his links to the earth, to the body and to time. Annick Sophie “Neckel” Scholtus, born in 1982, lives and works in Luxembourg. Artist photographer, graduated from the universities of Montpellier III and Paris 8, She distinguished herself with her project Roulot'ographe, a modular obscuring caravan with which She went to meet the public in Luxembourg as well as in France, Germany and in Swiss.
