“Le Cabaret des Rêves: A romance in Montmartre” is an original work and a 100% Grand Est project with artists and speakers from the region.
“Paris, 1910, Arthur Mercier dies prematurely, leaving his adopted daughter without a future. Lise is thus kicked out of her home and left to fend for herself. She then crosses paths with the artists of the Cabaret des Rêves and falls into the clutches of Léon, a devious and narcissistic manager. Jules, the heir of Arthur Mercier, arrives in town to settle his late father's debts and reclaim his childhood home. There he discovers the portrait of Lise... But who is this mysterious young girl? »
What adventures does Lise embark on? Will the young orphan be able to escape her jailer?
