After the great success of 2017, the Entente des choires de Diekirch is delighted to announce for 15.12.2024 at 5 p.m. at the parish church of Diekirch, a new edition of an exceptional concert, which will amaze music lovers. Christmas in lights 2.0
This concert will feature a choir composed of the four choirs of Diekirch (Chorale Municipale Sängerbond, Chorale Ste Cécile, Ensemble Vocal Cantica and Ensemble de Jeunes Dikricher Solschlësselcher), who join their voices to offer a rich and varied Christmas repertoire. Accompanied by the Magnifica de Paris brass quintet, these amateur and professional artists will create an unforgettable musical experience.
The choirs and brass will be joined by soloists from our own ranks as well as Maurice Clement, Joé Lahos, Jos Majerus and Christophe Nanquette on the piano and grand organ. Their presence promises to add an extra dimension to this concert under the direction of our conductors Paul Lallemand, Andy Loor, Jean-Paul Majerus, Raymond Majerus and Maike Wendt.
To make this evening even more memorable, the church will be staged with spectacular lighting effects. These artistic lightings, under the direction of Paul Hoffmann, will create a magical atmosphere, sublimating the beauty of the sacred architecture while immersing the audience in a captivating atmosphere.
