After completing a master's degree in narrative at the École de Recherche Graphique in Brussels, Antoine Grimée returned home to Luxembourg and embarked on a career as an illustrator and comic book author. In addition to three books in Luxembourgish (“De Coyote am Schofspelz”, “D’Geheimnis vum verschwonnene Sall”, and “Fortific(at)tions”), he created various illustrations for the press and the local cultural scene and regularly published one-page comics devoted to historical figures in the monthly Warte-Perspectives. In 2024, he illustrated “L’arnaque des nouveaux pères – Enquête sur une révolution manquée”, written by Guillaume Daudin and Stéphane Jourdain and published by Glénat. “One fine evening with…” is a carefully prepared event dedicated to highlighting emerging or established talent from Luxembourg. Artists from music, dance, visual arts, or literature will have the opportunity to present their work. An entire evening will be dedicated to the artist, exploring the motivations that underpin their creation, whether they be desires, fears, or sources of inspiration. “One fine evening with…” offers an intimate look into the world of each artist and will be hosted by Luc Spada. The conversation with the artist will be in Luxembourgish.
