Concert at the Notre-Dame de Lorette Chapel in Clervaux. GLASS for TWO, the project by German-Greek pianist Danae Dörken and Luxembourgish vibraphonist and composer Pascal Schumacher, promises a fascinating artistic journey through the legacy of American minimalist composer Philip Glass. The project not only promises a tribute to a great master of minimalism but also a discovery of new soundscapes and the creation of a unique sound experience! Alongside selected works from Glass's repertoire, including excerpts from 'Einstein on the Beach', 'Naqoyqatsi', the Metamorphoses and the Piano Etudes, Schumacher will add his own compositions. Inspired by Glass, they provide the album with a personal tone. Dörken and Schumacher create an impressive synthesis of piano and vibraphone sounds that resonate with Glass's minimalist aesthetic. The duo is particularly committed to creating a unique and clear sound that reflects the fusion of the two instruments.
