Regular Guided Tour: A Stroll Through Art
Every Saturday, join the guided tour of the permanent exhibition 'A Stroll through Art'. Discover European drawings and sculptures from the 17th to the 19th centuries. Through this exhibition at Villa Vauban, visitors are invited to explore three centuries of artistic creation: from 17th-century Dutch art, through the dreamscapes of Italy, to mid-19th-century French painting. Discover a variety of styles and eras with numerous masterpieces, including small formats and miniatures, and a spectacular room dedicated to Pescatore's acquisitions, a benefactor of the City, during the auction of King William II of the Netherlands' artworks in 1850. An immersive video projection at the beginning of the tour sets the mood for the artworks to be discovered.
