Every Sunday, you can join the guided tour of the permanent exhibition 'A Walk through Art'. Discover European drawings and sculptures from the 17th to 19th centuries. The exhibition at Villa Vauban takes visitors through three centuries of artistic creation: from 17th-century Dutch art, through the imagined landscapes of Italy, to French painting in the mid-19th century. In addition to styles and periods with many masterpieces, you'll discover small formats and miniatures as well as a spectacular room dedicated to the acquisitions of Pescatore, a donor and benefactor of the city, during the auction of works possessed by King William II of the Netherlands in 1850. This varied range of subjects and artistic styles is echoed in an immersive video projection at the start of the tour.
