The commemoration period for the Liberation of Montigny-lès-Metz will begin on November 14 with a gala concert by the Armored Cavalry Music, at 8:00 PM, at Espace Europa. Then on November 23, at 9:15 AM, the avenue des Compagnons de la Libération will be inaugurated at the ÉcoQuartier Lizé, with a tribute to General Charles Delestraint and Paul Schmidt. At 10:30 AM, the Armored Cavalry Music, the association of military vehicles of the East and Les Mobilisés association will enhance the ceremony at the War Memorial, square Félix Peupion. Also on November 23, from 2:00 to 6:00 PM, two exhibitions will be held at Espace Europa: "The Liberation of South Metz between 1944 and 1945" by Montigny Autrefois, with a conference at 2:30 PM and at 4:30 PM, and "1940, from civilian life to military health service" by Les Mobilisés.
