Meeting at the summit! Between violinist Liya Petrova and violist Lise Berthaud, the chemistry is immediate for an enchanting concert at the Adagio! Liya Petrova was revealed on the international stage when she won First Prize at the Carl Nielsen International Violin Competition in Denmark in 2016. The international press is full of praise: The Sunday Times praises "a magnificent, mature sound with silver reflections, phrasing of majestic breadth". Pizzicato in Germany also speaks of a "silvery, pure sound" and insists on its "magnificent lyricism" while Gramophone describes an "exceptional variety of timbres" in "a wonderful disc". Very present on the international circuit both as a soloist and chamber musician, Lise is invited to prestigious venues such as the Musikverein in Vienna, the Théâtre des Champs-Elysées, the Philharmonie in Munich, the Concertgebouw in Amsterdam, Bozar in Brussels, Wigmore Hall, Royal Albert Hall, Elbphilharmonie in Hamburg.
