Ave Clesen-Schmidt's exhibition is characterized by a graphic visual language defined by lush imagination and playing with the boundaries of proportions and shapes while maintaining a distinctive approach to drawing or painting. In her work, she observes an individual in the current world with its drama, absurdity, and comedy. Ave Clesen-Schmidt is an Estonian-born artist and illustrator living and working in Luxembourg since 2019. After obtaining her master's degree in social sciences and working for several years as a journalist and media professional, she decided to pursue her lifelong love for creating visual art. Today, she is a freelance artist, which has allowed her to experiment in various creative pursuits such as illustration, collaborative work, and exhibitions.
