Organized by Cité Sociale and the League of Education – FOL Moselle, the Arab Film Festival of Fameck is one of the major cultural events of the season in the Grand Est region. It offers more than 40 films, including feature films, documentaries, and short films, many of which are premieres or exclusive screenings, with the aim of promoting emerging cinematography. The program includes more than 110 screenings over ten days featuring productions from countries such as Morocco, Algeria, Tunisia, Egypt, Jordan, Syria, Palestine, Iraq, Lebanon, etc.
Several awards are given: Grand Prix, Youth Jury Prize, Press Jury Prize, Audience Award, Documentary Prize, and Short Film Prize. A non-competition selection titled "Open to the World" is also offered, featuring films not produced by Arab countries but linked by the themes they address (Israel, Afghanistan, Iran, etc.).
