Theater course for 10 to 13-year-olds
It's time to take the stage! Theater course for boys and girls aged 10 to 13, organized by the Dante Alighieri Society and the Italian Bookshop of Luxembourg.
This activity offers a fun and engaging theatrical experience, incorporating a range of techniques such as dramatic games, concentration exercises, improvisation, and the use of masks and puppets. The goal is to embark on a creative journey with friends, culminating in the performance of a short play in June.
A standard lesson typically includes:
- Physical and vocal warm-up exercises
- Activities to develop concentration
- Group games to promote teamwork
- Creative exercises and improvisation practice
- Skits
Benefits for students:
Participants will have the opportunity to use the Italian language creatively, improving their imagination, concentration, memory, and self-esteem. Furthermore, they will develop a sense of loyalty and respect for others in a collaborative environment.
Prerequisites:
Participants must wear comfortable clothing to allow ease of movement during sessions.

Schedule: Sunday from 16:45 to 18:15
Duration: 15 sessions of 1.5 hours each for a total of 22.5 hours.
The last two dates of the course are consecutive: general rehearsal on Saturday, June 14th, and the performance on Sunday, June 15th, 2025.
The course is held at the headquarters of the Dante Alighieri Society, rue St. Ulric 25 in Luxembourg (grund).
The location of the performance will be communicated later.
Participants should wear comfortable clothing.
