On stage! Theater course for girls and boys aged 6 to 9 organized by the Dante Alighieri Society and the Italian Bookstore Luxembourg.
Course description by Jana Montorio: This activity offers a fun and engaging theatrical experience, incorporating a range of techniques such as dramatic games, concentration exercises, improvisation, and the use of masks and puppets. The aim is to embark on a creative journey with friends, culminating in the performance of a short theatrical play in June.
A standard lesson typically includes:
- Physical and vocal warm-up exercises
- Activities to develop concentration
- Group games to foster teamwork
- Creative exercises and improvisation practice
- Sketches

Prerequisites:
Participants must wear comfortable clothing to allow ease of movement during the sessions.
Jana Montorio is a multilingual theater teacher and playwright, of Czech origin, naturalized Italian. Passionate about collective creations, she offers theatrical improvisation workshops for all ages, with extensive experience in working with children and teenagers.

Organized by the Dante Alighieri Society and the Italian Bookstore Luxembourg. Teacher: Jana Montorio. Timing: Sunday from 3:00 PM to 4:30 PM. Duration: 15 sessions of 1.5 hours each, totaling 22.5 hours. The last two course dates are consecutive due to the dress rehearsal on Saturday, June 14, and the show on Sunday, June 15, 2025. The classes will take place at rue St. Ulric 25 in Luxembourg (grund).
