The CINE MOMENTS highlight the invited composers of the Salon de Helen Buchholtz and their works from a different perspective. This new documentary presents four remarkable women of the 18th century who freed themselves from the yoke of Western patriarchal and colonial powers to lead adventurous lives. Driven by the ideal of a more egalitarian society, they took to the sea and led crews, not hesitating to cross-dress and take up arms. They even became the first abolitionists in history, helping slaves regain their freedom by integrating them into their ranks. The original music composed by Nigji Sanges, invited composer of the Salon de Helen Buchholtz, gives you a glimpse of her creation in the field of film music.
