Every Friday afternoon, our volunteer seamstress gives your clothes a second life. It's free, open to all, without registration and no appointment needed. The only requirement: to stay on site during the alteration to "learn" with her.
About the event: What if we repaired instead of throwing away? Every Friday afternoon, a volunteer seamstress shows and teaches you how to give a second life to your clothes or accessories. An old pair of pants to be turned into shorts, a dress that's too long that you want to shorten, an old sheet to make dishcloths, a simple hem to sew? Our Repair Café Sewing is open to everyone and free. No pre-registration and no appointment necessary. First come, first served! Our volunteer seamstress communicates with you mainly in French. Material to bring: your garment(s) to repair.
