Director Ivo van Hove, a regular at the Théâtres de la Ville, returns to the Grand Théâtre with a double bill adapted from Ingmar Bergman’s films ‘After the Rehearsal’ / ‘Persona’. Originally created in Dutch in 2012, this French production features standout performances by Emmanuelle Bercot and Charles Berling. Complex characters explore themes of life, art, and sacrifice in an emotionally rich homage to Bergman’s legacy.
