?️ Free entry ⏰19:30 ? Limits of Europe
Join us for a powerful evening of film and conversation with "Limits of Europe", a documentary that reveals the experience of Eastern European migrant workers in Western Europe.
A prominent Czech journalist leaves her family and joins "cheap labour force" in Western Europe. Undercover, she works at an asparagus farm in Germany, tries her hand as a maid at a hotel in Ireland and takes care of the elderly in France. She experiences first-hand the struggles of Eastern European low-wage workers.
Following the screening, we’re excited to meet via Zoom the film’s director Apolena Rychlíková. An opportunity for all of us to gain insights into the making of the film and the issues it explores.
We are happy to announce that there will be simultaneous translation of the discussion from and to French.
