A sensual drama set in shady Berlin in the 1920s:
Shot in the legendary Babelsberg studios, Asphalt is a graphic and committed work directed by German cinema pioneer Joe May. This love story set against a backdrop of urban chaos, in which the asphalt is a real character, will be musically illustrated by the keyboards of Francesco Tristano and Hayato Sumino, a new Japanese piano sensation.
