After a lengthy hiatus, CARIBOU is set to make a return to the stages with a global tour, including a stop at the Rockhal on the 4th of February 2025.
Canadian artist Dan Snaith, who performs as CARIBOU, crafts mesmerizing explorations of dance music that are alluring, catchy, and intimate. He distills various strains of house music into simple moods and fleshes out the emotions of each track with gently spoken vocals. More than a decade of touring across the globe has cemented CARIBOU’s reputation as much for being a live band as a studio project.
In April 2024, CARIBOU released his first single in two years: ‘Honey,’ a dancefloor-ready banger that comes with a trippy music video directed by Richard Kenworthy.
Known for their quality performances, CARIBOU teased the tour would feature “a lot of new music” to enthrall and delight their fans. In April, Snaith returned with “Honey,” his first new single under the moniker in two years. The last CARIBOU album, Suddenly, came out in 2020.
For the past few years CARIBOU, aka Dan Snaith, has been releasing under his DAPHNI alias. As DAPHNI, he has played back-to-back with FLOATING POINTS at FOUR TET’s Under The K Bridge event this year, and is set to play at Coachella’s all-new electronic music stage, Quasar.
