Under the title Dis-placed, the Konschthal Esch has joined forces with the Biennale 2024 – Architectures, Esch Capitale Culturelle. Divided into two parts between July 2024 and January 2025, this major project brought together the work of a dozen international artists around the notion of the loss of “home”.

Situated at the intersection between architecture, sculpture, cinematographic work, graphic arts and photography, all these proposals were selected in close collaboration with the artists - all from different personal, cultural and artistic backgrounds - in order to reflect the concerns of the current scene on these questions of belonging and exodus.

A complex implementation in the public space and spaces of the Konschthal Esch that offers the public a unique experience, transforming these “architectures” again.

This conference focuses on the design of an exhibition scenography, its promotion strategies, its speakers and its impact on the programming of an institution like the Konschthal Esch.
