Dive into the art of portraiture with a selection of over 50 works, mainly comprising oil paintings but also enriched with precious engravings from the 17th and 18th centuries, as well as a few drawings from the 19th and 20th centuries. Each work not only reveals the image of an era but also the fascinating history of its figures and creators. This exhibition invites you to explore the connections between art and history, between the individual and their image, in a journey where each portrait becomes a testimony of the past while echoing our own perception of the face and identity.
