On Sunday, December 1, 2024, Saint Nicholas, accompanied by Father Fouettard and the angels, will tour the city to distribute his famous bags of sweets to children.
2:30 p.m. - Central Station
Arrival of Saint Nicolas by tram at Luxembourg station; welcome by the city’s political leaders; musical accompaniment by the “Tramsmusek”.
2:45 p.m. - Place de Paris
Arrival of the procession at Place de Paris for the distribution of Titercher; musical supervision by the “Bouneweger Nuechtigailercher”.
4:15 p.m. - Upper Town
The procession leaves the Place de Paris towards the Upper Town.
4:30 p.m. - Upper Town
The procession will pass through rue Philippe II, Grand-Rue, Marché-aux-Herbes and rue de la Reine to reach place Guillaume II; accompanied by the “Tramsmusek” and the dancers from the Cathy Moes by Li Marteling dance school.
5 p.m. to 6 p.m. - Place Guillaume II
Speech by the Mayor; distribution of “Titercher” at Place Guillaume II; musical supervision by the children’s choir of the City’s Music Conservatory.
