Ebullitions, the third exhibition of the 2024-2025 season, is a project in nine paired propositions for eighteen artists at work. An idea of celebration, of effervescence, first led the members of the Atelier 321 collective towards champagne bubbles, giving them form through the choice of materials, techniques, and colors. In two dimensions, it is expressed through painting, engraving, drawing, and photography, from grapevines to the Champagne hills. In three dimensions, the glass bubble plays with light, molds into wood fiber, becomes part of a monumental metallic composition representing a grape cluster, and turns into a paper sphere animated from within. It is made of sponge or lace. It bursts from all sides! Its effervescence is delightful! It is to be savored with the eyes, and more! Guided tours available upon request.
