“Nancy-Kabylie” by Dorothée Myriam Kellou is an emotional narrative that explores themes of memory, exile, and uprooting. Through the author's perspective, we discover her journey to understand her father's Algerian roots and the consequences of French colonization. The book traces her family's experiences, particularly the forced relocations during the Algerian War. Kellou invites us to reflect on identity and dual cultural belonging, while paying tribute to the resilience of those who endured these trials. This reading session is organized in collaboration with the Panafro Book Club.
