Round Table: 10 years since the legalization of marriage for same-sex couples in Luxembourg: retrospectives and perspectives. On January 29, 2025, the Queer Studies Laboratory on Gender and Feminisms – LEQGF Asbl and the Rainbow Center are organizing a round table with activists involved in advocating for marriage equality for homosexual couples in Luxembourg. Our panelists will reflect on the accomplishments and challenges faced by the LGBTIQ community in Luxembourg. The discussion will mainly focus on the panelists’ memories: What internal discussions took place? How did they organize themselves? What actions/campaigns were undertaken? Who supported this struggle on a political and social level?
After the discussion, we will gather for a small drink and a surprise snack.
