These are people who, long before the German occupation and sometimes still today, are socially marginalized. People who are poor, homeless, or dependent on social assistance, as well as people who have a different lifestyle, another culture, or belong to a religious minority. People with dark skin or whose sexual orientation or identity does not match the moral values of the majority of society. Not to mention people with physical or psychological disabilities. The exhibition "Forgotten Victims" tells their stories.
Good to know
The exhibition is held at the Museum in Esch/Alzette until December 22, 2024.
