A critical self-portrait of Luxembourg as much as of a cultural world that preaches to the converted and talks about diversity without managing to find a way to live it on stage and in theaters, a political play with many elements of satire as if to counterbalance the seriousness of certain stories of exile – and because humor remains the best remedy against stupidity – Partidiot aims to be a rant that is both cynical and funny, tender and moving. Because if theater is powerless to change the world, it must be a sounding board that shakes it up a little, the world – starting with its spectators.
