This captivating and heartfelt production depicts the interconnected narratives of three generations of women within a single family, as they go through pregnancy, motherhood, marriage, and loss.
Emily, eight months pregnant, immerses herself in her grandmother's journal, uncovering a legacy of courage and unconditional love, and confronting the unspoken sorrows that have shaped their lives. Through a blend of mime, theatre, and live music – all of which transcend language – "Birth" takes us on a poignant journey, where stories of family bonds, shared experiences, memories, and secrets are told with grace and sensitivity.
