Shake your bones among ancient ones! Dance, Discover & Learn: Swing the ‘natur musée’
What better way to spend a cold Sunday afternoon in January than by dancing your heart out and exploring something new? On January 19, the Swing Dance Association and the ‘natur musée’ invite you to a special event at the National Museum of Natural History: an afternoon packed with dancing, fun, and fascinating discoveries!
What's on the program?
Free Taster Class (3:00 PM–3:45 PM):
Step into the lively world of Lindy Hop, a dynamic swing dance from the 1930s and 1940s. No experience? No problem! Come solo or bring a partner and enjoy learning your first moves to the infectious rhythm of swing jazz.
Permanent Exhibition & Guided Tour (10AM-6PM):
Beyond the dance floor, explore the museum’s fascinating permanent exhibition or join an English-guided tour (4PM-5PM) of our current temporary exhibition "Luxembourg on the Rocks" to uncover Luxembourg’s deep-rooted connection to stone.
Social Dancing (2:30PM-5:30PM):
Put your new dance skills to the test, make new friends, or simply enjoy the music. Coffee and cake will be provided!

About the Swing Dance Association
Founded in 2013, Swing Dance Luxembourg ASBL is dedicated to promoting swing jazz dances such as Lindy Hop. Through weekly classes, social dances, and workshops, the association spreads the joy and vibrant energy of swing throughout the region.
