A night of suave melodies and poetic storytelling: Rozeen and Lara Grogan will captivate you with their classically infused pop and dream-like tunes. Rozeen is the music project of Zofia Branicka, a Luxembourgish singer-songwriter of Polish origins. She started developing her musical identity upon completing her musicology, sound & music creation and songwriting studies. Rozeen's musical style could be described as a mixture of pop, soul, and folk music. Having studied classical music for most of her life, it also contains classical elements. Her songs showcase strong emotional expression and sensibility, with a strong emphasis on lyrics and musical tension.
Lara Grogan grew up listening to artists like Joni Mitchell, The Beatles, Simon & Garfunkel, and Carole King. Over the years, she expanded her influences, blending pop, folk, and classical music to create her own style. Her songs combine narrative and introspective lyrics with dream-like melodies, often inspired by her observations of the world and literary themes. In April 2024, she released her debut album, The Sculptor, and currently performs with two live music projects, Lara Grogan & Band, and Lara Grogan & Cello.
The Rocklab Live Sessions are filmed showcases by local bands & artists. Their aim is to promote and document the ever-growing number and diversity of artists from the local music scene by offering them a stage, regardless of music genre, age, and experience. A selection of songs from each showcase will be released digitally later on, to reach a larger audience and provide the artists with a quality live video.
