Having performed over 1000 concerts in about ten countries, from the Sziget Festival to Bobital via Montreux Jazz, the Bretons of LA GAPETTE have established themselves as one of the essential bands on the independent French song scene. Following in the footsteps of the Têtes Raides or Les Ogres de Barback, La Gâpette enhances citizen texts, often grave, carried by a festive musical envelope with rich instrumentation. All closely or remotely linked to the world of the bistro, the 6 members of La Gâpette do not hesitate to put on their outfit of "Barmanologue" and set up their counter on which they serve humanity and generosity. An ode to living together that nonetheless has a clear-eyed look at society. A real live performance moment placing human values at the forefront!
