Introduction à la pièce par Britta Schlüter 30 minutes avant chaque représentation (DE).

A mysterious accident. A deceased husband. Secrets that resurface. Is the past ever truly dead? Beiv, a renowned artist, moves to her holiday home off the coast of Cork, burdened by a dark past. When her estranged son and his new wife visit, tough questions arise. Fábio Godinho directs Nancy Harris' Lighthouse as a reflection on art and nature, exploring Beiv’s plight as a metaphor for contemporary artists. The play delves into remorse, guilt, love, and overcoming the past. Nancy Harris is an award-winning writer from Dublin who lives in London. Her comedy series The Dry about the complexities of family relationships in the face of addiction won her a BAFTA-nomination in 2023.
