The traditional Japanese instruments shamisen (pointed lute), koto (half-tube zither), and shakuhachi (bamboo flute), which took their current form in the 16th and 17th centuries, have a long and deeply rooted history. Mieko Miyazaki, shamisen concert player living in Lyon, Naoko Kikuchi, a famous koto player from Frankfurt, and the talented shakuhachi player Reison Kuroda from Japan will accompany you on this musical journey along with Tomoya Yokokawa, director of the Doppelmond ensemble.
