This workshop invites you to explore not only oil painting, but also the question of emptiness.

Through compositions of non-colored spaces, the importance of emptiness, as well as its relationship with the motif, will be questioned. A questioning that is also present in many of the works of the artist Jean-Pierre Beckius.

In the first step, participants prepare a sketch, which will then be partially covered with a composition of adhesive tape.
Then the painting work begins!
Finally, the adhesive tape will be removed, and the vacuum effect will unfold in full force.
