The atypical journey of a woman who became a teacher although she dreamed of being an actress. We are labeled from childhood, which constructs and defines us as adults. How do others perceive us? What label is attached to us? A simple word, a simple phrase and we are categorized by someone. This is what everyone will see of us without ever trying to know who we really are. Because of these labels that imprison us, we make choices and follow a path that does not necessarily make us happy. How to free ourselves from them? By knowing ourselves better. On the verge of turning 40, after a career that led her to burn-out, Élodie tried to understand what went wrong and why she put aside her theatrical passion for 15 years... Élodie traces her journey with characters who shaped the woman she is today: from the falsely sympathetic school principal to a detestable Parisian secretary or a career counselor at her wit's end, she brings to life situations where everyone will recognize themselves. This solo performance, both funny and moving, will make you look at the world differently, question your choices and what truly makes you happy, and perhaps even make you want to give your neighbor a big hug!
