LUCA invites you to discover this exhibition that examines the anatomy of the housing market in Luxembourg and presents an alternative model at the crossroads of the public and private sectors: housing cooperatives. This model of participatory housing is very successful in other European cities because it offers its inhabitants the possibility of designing and building their own affordable housing.
Designed from Céline Zimmer's doctoral thesis, this exhibition is part of LUCA's desire to advance the debate on housing in Luxembourg and pursues the dual ambition of providing information on the cooperative housing model, which is struggling to emerge in Luxembourg, and of encouraging visitors to get involved in the creation of housing cooperatives.
