After studying English and training as an actress, Séverine Magois turned to theatrical translation and joined the Maison Antoine Vitez in 1992. Since 1995, she has been translating and representing in France the works of Daniel Keene (Théâtrales ed.) and children's theater by Mike Kenny (Actes Sud). In parallel, she translates many other authors, primarily contemporary, both for the stage and publication. Her translations have been awarded several times (Molière, JLAT prize, SACD prize, Godot prize). She also works as an agent and proofreader.
