This name chosen as a totem by the two musicians who make up this duo symbolizes the blend of their two worlds: the digital world of electro pads of the Spanish producer and composer Alex Recio and the embodied and sensual presence of the voice and the setār – a traditional string instrument – of the Iranian musician Nazanin Yalda. Their first album, released in 2024 on the Soond label, summons soundscapes where Persian poetry soars amidst compositions sweeping a wide spectrum: from ambient to techno, from trip-hop to IDM, from downtempo serenity to noisier distortions.
