Conference: the proper use of medicinal plants
Conference as part of Well-Being Month on the proper use of medicinal plants, natural is not without danger.
Phytotherapy is a natural discipline, considered as such by many people to be safe.
Self-medication is becoming increasingly popular among herbal practitioners. Using medicinal plants requires a few precautions related to certain components that can cause toxicity to an organ or the entire body.
In addition, certain compounds present in plants sometimes cause interactions with certain conventional medications and they can also present contraindications in relation to physiological states or pathologies. No substance, even of natural origin, is devoid of toxicity.
