In co-production with Bad Ischl Salzkammergut 2024, European Capital of Culture, the Théâtres de la Ville present the unique encounter between the Tyrolean Musicbanda Franui and the Australian circus company Circa, whose dazzling Beethoven 9 was enjoyed by Luxembourg audiences last season. With his new creation Urlicht, Yaron Lifschitz creates a multidisciplinary and daring spectacle of contemporary music and circus, a visionary acrobatic journey through the musical universe of Gustav Mahler, inhabited by the precise bodily movements of Circa's artists. Exceptional musical theater for a wide audience, all generations combined, celebrating the great Austrian composer. A symphony of bodies as exhilarating as it is moving.
