Sex and religion? What an unlikely marriage! How do we shed the trappings of modesty, the unspoken, conventions, and decorum? How do we talk about and experience sex as a woman today, with all her cultural and emotional baggage?
Beyond a show, "Sexetera" is intended to be the (incomplete) story of a woman's journey as she seeks to escape moral values that have long since ceased to suit her but that are still hard to break. The audience is a stakeholder in this story, which, at one point or another, resonates with everyone.
The performance will be followed by a discussion with actress Estelle Brochard, as well as representatives from CESAS and the Family Planning Association. A 2022/2023 premiere.
