In its 8th edition, Light Leaks Festival 2024 celebrates the visions of documentary and street photographers emphasizing their perspectives on reality woven into their own personal narrative.

This year's international guest speakers are Bieke Depoorter, Michael Ackerman and Nikita Teryoshin.

Beyond the lectures, you can immerse yourself in the world of street photography through our indoor exhibition featuring local talent, an international street photography collective, members of the Luxembourg Streetphoto Collective and photography students from the local high schools. Among the students, a young talent prize will be awarded to the most remarkable work.

An outdoor exhibition presenting the internationally renowned “Nothing personal” series by Nikita Teryoshin will be presented in the Rotondes courtyard.

The Light Leaks Festival once again addresses the educational aspect by offering a variety of workshops ranging from a street photography workshop for beginners to analog photography to the legal aspects of street photography. The famous Michael Ackerman will give a master class.

The festival is also a place of exchange. You will find an equipment and printing market on site and a local bookstore presents its finest selections of photography books. Anyone can participate in our Light Leaks Bazaar and sell prints and zines.

In 2024 again, the Light Leaks Festival is a platform for everyone. The open wall competition gives you the opportunity to show your work and win a prize.
