Between "Feste", "Fortified Group" with a hint of the Maginot Line, come and visit "Le Fort de Guentrange"!

The visit to the fort begins with the central barracks. It is here that the facilities for supplying soldiers are located. For example, baking, heating, kitchens, electricity production, ventilation and drinking water supply.
Then, we explore an underground gallery to get to the north battery. We visit its command center and a renovated turret. This is equipped with a 10 cm cannon as well as ammunition reloading machines.
Finally, we visit the museum. It contains collections from 1870 to 1945, including those of the town of Thionville.

Duration of the visit 2h-2h30

Indoor temperature 13° C. It is recommended to bring warm clothes and suitable shoes.
