What if we started at the end?
Palindrome formed by the succession of different composers, a journey through time, the concert begins with three solo pieces from radically different periods, baroque, contemporary and then romantic. Each musician defends a style, the pieces follow one another without applause and carry the listener into contrasting imaginary worlds.
At the heart of the program, Ernest Chausson's trio With piano op.3, originally written for violin, cello and piano. Then performs for the listener a gentle return to the past: We listen to Rachmaninov On piano alone, Then Berio. We then end as We began, with Telemann And his last Fantasy for solo flute played On soprano saxophone.
