Artistic exploration of nature and the use of natural materials to create creative “products” allow the child to express themselves in a variety of ways. Creative design processes not only foster a sense of self-efficacy and self-realization, but also an interest in nature. Questions suddenly arise such as: Where did this leaf come from? Why is it this color? How can I work on the leaf to realize my vision? In this training, participants explore the various possibilities offered by collecting, researching and using natural materials in a creative setting. A series of activities and craft ideas serve as inspiration for this, which can be implemented not only in nature but also indoors. Objectives - understand the role of creative activity in children’s development - know practical ideas and activities for working with natural materials - gain personal experience in the natural world - become more familiar with a range of natural materials
