The Armenian pianist helped redefine jazz piano in the 21st century. With traditional music as materials, he built a world dominated by The Dream, eminently cinematographic. For this solo, Tigran Hamasyan immersed himself body and soul in the great jazz standards, revisited in a very free way, drawn towards more oriental melodies.
