Khachaturian's music is not limited to The Saber Dance, nor that of Dvořák to The New World Symphony. Fine connoisseurs of the repertoires of their respective countries, Armenia and the Czech Republic, Sergey Khachatryan and Jiři Rožeň invite us to get off the beaten track and discover exciting works, strongly anchored in their region. in Khachaturian the oriental perfume, the lascivious melodies, the wild rhythms; in Dvořák The depth of feeling, the exuberance of Czech dances. This panorama is completed by three Armenian miniatures by Komitas, torchbearer of Armenian music until the genocide of 1915.
