Everyone knows the first bars of *Little Night Music*. But hearing this gem in concert, and not as background music for a film or video game, reminds us of the genius Mozart was in his most ambitious works as well as in his most modest. Two soloists from the Metz Grand Est National Orchestra, Nicolas Alvarez and Antonin Musset, join forces with Belgian pianist Julien Gernay in another astonishing score: Beethoven's Triple Concerto. By cultivating the art of being together halfway between concerto, chamber music and symphony, this atypical score is immediately seductive, endowed with themes that we inevitably sing along to after listening.
