A gem of Flemish dance, Jan Martens is inspired by popular uprisings (Youth for Climate, Black Lives Matter, etc.) as revealing a collective quest for freedom. Seventeen dancers, aged 20 to 70, cross the authoritarian order of our time, symbolized by a martial and geometric march amid projections of ultra-violent texts taken from social networks. Around, everyone has their signature gestures which, repeated in bursts, collide to form an organism pulsing with the same need for diversity, accompanied by the words of Kae tempest.
